This was fun last week, so we are keeping it going! Here are the things I’m loving this week.

- John Legend: I have been a massive fan of John Legend since he stepped onto the scene in 2003, and this week, I fell in love again and for the first time with his music. I continue to pay for my Apple Music subscription because I can get an All John Legend station with the click of a few buttons. The album Legend, in particular, took me on a ride. John is a bad boy, and I like it!
- Here’s The Thing podcast: KevOnStage (comedian/actor Kevin Fredericks) is my kind of people, and this podcast with the amazing That Chick Angel (actress Angel Moore Tanksley) is one thing that I look forward to every week. Their hilarious and honest takes on current events keep me coming back for more.
- 10 grain bread from H-E-B: Bay-bee!! This bread right here…I NEVER thought bread could make me feel this way! I met with a Registered Dietitian last week, and she recommended that I work on incorporating more whole grains into my diet so I went to see how I could switch out my bread choice and I found this one. It’s baked fresh daily and I store it in my fridge. I found myself being excited for breakfast so I could have some toast with this bread! It’s good plain or with a little bit of butter.
- Alive App by Whitney Simmons: Y’all know I am serious about my gym time and when I get in there it’s all business (with little dance parties during my rest times). Whitney Simmons is a personal trainer and fitness influencer I found on social media when I first started my fitness journey. This app she developed has amazing strength programs fit for the gym or home workouts. I finished 2 of her 8 week Lift programs with Libby Christensen (another fitness influencer I love) which says a lot. I struggle with getting bored with programs even though I know I have to stick with it long enough to track my progress and build my strength. The Lift program was fun and it switched things up just enough that I breezed through and was sad when it was over. The app is $14.99 and available in the Apple App store.
- Coach Dempsey Tote: I bought this tote a few years ago, and it’s been my go-to work bag since I returned to the office at the beginning of the year. It’s pretty big, so I can fit my laptop, lunch kit, and a small pouch inside. It has an adjustable, wide shoulder strap, so it’s super comfortable to carry even when it’s heavy. This tote is a workhorse, but it’s also cute and chic!
I’m interested in what you’ve been loving this week that I should try out! Drop them in the comments and I will see you next week.
xo, Siara
